DO YOUR PATIENTS KNOW THEIR CARDIOVASCULAR AGE? |
Let them discover it by using the interactive My Health Checkup; it’s an online tool that produces a profile based on current treatment guidelines at the national level. The risk profile of My Health Checkup is based on a programme of health risk evaluation from McGill called « Cardiovascular Health Improvement ». Since 1992, results from this research are published in several scientific journals and more than 30,000 individuals have completed their risk profile in person during screening days in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America. This tool is now available to you to help you assess your patients’ risks who suffer from cardiovascular disease and attacks, and how to lower their risk as much as possible. More information is available from Ilka Lowesteyn at ilka.lowensteyn@mcgill.ca or Marla Gold at mgold@epimgh.mcgill.ca
